Each year, Walnut Hill invites young string players to submit an application and audition for the Benjamin Zander Scholarship Competition. In recognition of the legacy that Benjamin Zander has created with the Walnut Hill School through his commitment to educating young artists, the Benjamin Zander Scholarship Competition honors one student who has demonstrated significant artistic talent and musical achievement in the art of string performance.
