Walnut Hill School for the Arts Department of Ballet has an anticipated opening beginning September 2010 for an Associate Director of Ballet. Responsibilities include teaching classes, running rehearsals, assisting director as needed, and assisting on audition tours to recruit new students. This is a full-time faculty position. There is also the possibility of separate employment in the summer ballet program 2010. Candidates should possess extensive professional performance experience in a major company; experience teaching talented adolescents; and experience staging ballet repertoire. Ability to choreograph a plus.
